Door Access Control
Door Access Control
Access control enables you to control who has access to your building.
Locks and keys also allow you to secure your building, but when keys are lost or stolen, the inconvenience and expense of changing locks and re-issuing keys can be considerable. Keys may also be copied, creating even more security risks.
All businesses, whether small, medium or large, have assets that need to be protected from theft. There is also the issue of protecting staff and their property. It is common in buildings that are secured by locks and keys for doors to be left unlocked all day. This opens up the possibility of opportunist theft and malicious damage.

At Apollo Alarms we take quality and reliability seriously which is why we specify Paxton Access systems to our Customers, Paxton is a leader in the field of technology relating to Access control, we can supply & install from single door installations to multiple site applications, this can be keypad (entering user codes) or proximity fobs (normally presented to a reader), or swipe card, we can customize access to your requirements using intercoms or remote controls:
Entering a correct code will allow the authorized user access; codes can be blocked to prevent existing user’s access if they are no longer authorized.
Key fobs are proximity devices that work when in close proximity to the reader, as above they will allow access to authorized users, key fobs can be cancelled to block a non authorized person using their key fob.
Staff can have their security ID passes printed on the same fob as their door entry systems
Fire alarm roll call integrates with the fire alarm system so when an alarm is activated the access control will send/print of a report of which users are on-site
Staff can clock in and out to record time-keeping
Bluetooth readers for temporary access such as cleaners or delivery drivers, so they can use their phone to access the premise
Card swipe readers are just as convenient, they work by simply swiping the card through the reader, they have the same functions and features of the readers above.
Can integrate with the CCTV system so every time someone swipes their fob, they are also recorded on CCTV
